Just got done watching the Seinfeld episode, where they go to the movies.  They have done this in more than one episode, but this one is actually titled "The Movie"
They don't miss a single thing that people have experienced when going to the movies (at least back when I was young)
There's the standing in the wrong line, thinking it's for getting tickets, when it's for those already with tickets.
Then there's the "sorry, we're sold out" for this showing" - does that even happen anymore?
Then we have the "meeting your friends at the movies instead of going together", and never actually meeting up with each other.  And to try to find your friends, describing them to a stranger in a descriptive way that is not always complimentary.
There's the saving of the seats, and games you play trying to make sure no one else takes them.
We have your "where's your ticket" - I lost the stub - sorry, can't let you in without it.
I probably get the biggest kick out of the scene where Elaine is trying to ask about the popcorn and soda sizes, and the clerk trying to explain how the different sizes work.  The small is medium, medium is a large and large is a jumbo.
Gotta love that Seinfeld.  Too bad there's no show out there like it today.  Sigh...
